Description:
We are looking for a Travel planner to join our Dubai team!
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to determine their travel needs and advise them on the appropriate destination
- Identify the client’s requirements and expectations for each travel experience and prepare itineraries and packages.
- Provide relevant information, brochures and itineraries to travelers
- Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees
- Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds
- Maintain client information and financial records
- Network with tour operators
- Manage destination events including conferences and retreats.
- Stay up to date with the latest travel trends and incorporate them into future experiences for clients
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event or travel planning process to ensure everything is in order.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Travel Agent or within the travel industry
- Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
- Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
- Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
- Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
- Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field is a plus
- Personal travel experience will be considered a a plus
