Verification & Coaching Manager

Description:

Avrioc Technologies is seeking a experienced " Verification & Coaching Manager " to join our MyWhoosh team in Abu Dhabi, UAE {Preference will be given who are immediately available to join}.

- Lead the design, implementation, and improvement of MyWhoosh’s athlete performance verification system
- Conduct post-race analysis and investigate anomalies across Premium Events, SRC, and UCI-level races
- Develop tools and data models to validate performance metrics (e.g., PMax, W/kg, CdA, HR response)
- Manage the Power Passport program, including test protocols and athlete profiling
- Build and maintain a dynamic rider categorization system using race data, power profiles, and physiological trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Race Operations to integrate verification systems and support development.

- 5+ years’ experience in cycling performance analysis, sport science, or esports integrity
- Strong understanding of metrics like FTP, VO2max, critical power, and cycling physics (CdA, drivetrain loss, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with platforms like TrainingPeaks, WKO5, ZwiftPower, and data tools (Excel, Python, or SQL)
- Familiarity with dual recording validation (e.g., smart trainer vs. power meter)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Cycling coaching certification (UCI, British Cycling, etc.)
- Experience with anti-doping, esports, or performance verification systems
