Veterinary Assistant

Pet Planet Veterinary Clinic is a newly opening state-of-the-art veterinary clinic in Dubai, dedicated to providing top-quality care for pets. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Assistant/Nurse to join our team and support our veterinarians in delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
• Handle emergency cases efficiently, ensuring quick response for on call.
• Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and microbiology.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and record vital signs.
• Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans for their animals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with client communication and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a veterinary Assistant/Nurse preferred.

- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, including anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
