Veterinary Nurse

Description:

A well-established small animal veterinary clinic in Dubai is seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join their growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in assisting veterinarians and providing excellent care to small animals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Collect blood samples and perform IV cannula placement
• Prepare patients, surgical equipment, and theatre for operations
• Monitor patients before and after surgical procedures
• Handle and restrain animals safely, including dogs and cats
• Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian
• Maintain clinic cleanliness, hygiene, and adhere to infection control standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Veterinary Nurse for at least 2 years
• Competent in blood withdrawal and IV catheter placement
• Experienced in surgical preparation
• Strong animal handling skills
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
• Basic English communication skills
