Chain Reaction Team is EXPANDING and what could be more exciting than working for an award-winning agency! We’re currently on the look for a talented Video Editor in Dubai's office with the below skills and qualifications:
Desired Skills:
- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
- Ensure consistent brand representation and a unified look and feel for the clients.
- Inputting uncut rushes and sound, and synchronizing and storing them into files on the computer;
- Experimenting with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements;
- Carry out online editing duties, which involve finalizing technical aspects such as correcting faulty footage, grading, and coloring, and adding special effects.
Qualifications:
- Preferably BS degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Digital Media Production, or equivalent experience.
- Work experience as a Videographer and Editor.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ prior experience in any production house or channel.
- Experience working on using professional cameras, editing suites, and basic lighting.
- Detailed and highly organized with a strong sense of prioritization
- A creative and innovative thinker and planner who goes above and beyond for the love of art and craft
- Excellent knowledge in using Adobe Creative Suite or Apple Final Cut Pro X
