Al Ramz Capital L.L.C is seeking a VP, Equity Research Sales to join our growing team.
The VP will serve as the key link between our equity research analysts and institutional clients, providing actionable investment insights, market intelligence, and tailored research.
The role is responsible for:
- Monetizing research content through client engagement.
- Building and maintaining deep institutional relationships.
- Driving revenues by positioning our research, including our exclusive CEO Series platform.
- Differentiating the firm’s research offering with high-impact, client-centric delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for institutional investors (sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, hedge funds, family offices).
- Present market views, stock calls, and thematic research to buy-side clients.
- Cross-sell firm-wide capabilities to enhance penetration.
- Research Translation & Delivery
- Convert detailed analyst reports into concise, commercially relevant insights.
- Tailor research messages for different audiences (PMs, CIOs, sector specialists, traders).
- Partner with analysts to align on forecasts, models, and views.
- Coordinate with trading, investment banking, and other functions (within regulatory boundaries).
- Support research marketing through roadshows, conferences, and client events.
- Market & Sector Expertise
- Monitor results, competitor actions, policy changes, and financial market developments.
- Anticipate client needs by proactively spotting investment opportunities.
Qualifications and experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance (mandatory). Master’s/MBA preferred.
- Certification: CISI, CFA or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in equity research sales, institutional sales, or related capital markets function, preferably in the GCC.
