Warehouse Assistant

Description:

A reputed seal-manufacturing factory located in KIZAD, Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to manage store operations with precision and ensure compliance with best practices in materials handling and inventory control. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for candidates with prior experience in warehouse environments, especially in manufacturing sectors like oil & gas, sealing, or industrial products.

The selected candidate will play a key role in the maintenance of accurate inventory records, processing of inbound and outbound materials, and coordination with various internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role requires a hands-on approach to housekeeping, safety, and warehouse management system compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching raw materials and finished products

• Maintain accurate records of material master data including batch/lot numbers, shelf locations, and stock thresholds

• Create and verify gate passes for all movements and liaise effectively with transport and security teams

• Perform real-time posting of all inventory transactions in ERP or spreadsheets

• Conduct routine cycle counts, full stock-takes, and reconcile inventory variances

• Record physical attributes (weight/measurement) of various materials including rubber sheets, PTFE billets, metals, and seals

• Ensure warehouse housekeeping meets 5S and HSE compliance; implement FIFO and MSDS protocols

• Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Procurement departments for stock levels, non-conformance issues, and reorders

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of relevant warehouse/store experience in an industrial or manufacturing setup

• Proficiency in inventory management systems and strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups)

• Ability to maintain structured documentation and apply measuring techniques (OD/ID, lengths, weights)

• Physically fit and ideally experienced with forklift or pallet truck operations

• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or Arabic is a plus

• Immediate availability and willingness to work in KIZAD

Salary & Benefits:
