SMI Middle East is looking to hire a passionate and talented Webdesign and WordPress Developer to join our team in Dubai. This full-time role will allow you to work on exciting projects that make an impact by creating and customizing WordPress websites and digital assets. Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle the design and development of company websites and digital assets.

• Customize themes and adjust UI/UX to align with brand and marketing needs.

• Develop and customize WordPress themes, widgets, menus, forms, and interactive elements.

• Add and enhance UI/UX elements like forms, tabs, and floating tiles to improve user engagement.

• Perform regular website maintenance, including updates, backups, and security patches.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to support website updates and other digital initiatives.

• Ensure website functionality is smooth, fast, and secure across various devices and browsers.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development with a strong focus on UI/UX.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Experience in theme customization, plugin development, and understanding of WordPress architecture.

• Previous experience guiding or mentoring team members is a plus.

• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, website security, and responsive design.

• Familiarity with digital photo editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop.

• Ability to work under deadlines, strong time-management skills, and effective communication.

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
