Hiring Accountant
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background, as well as a deep understanding of UAE VAT regulations, accounts payable and receivable, audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. VAT Filing and Compliance:
- Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements.
- Maintain accurate VAT records and assist in VAT audits.
- Address VAT-related queries and ensure full compliance with regulations for both local and international transactions.
2. Accounts Payable (AP):
- Manage the full accounts payable process including processing invoices, handling vendor relationships, and ensuring timely payments.
- Reconcile and maintain vendor accounts, ensuring proper documentation and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Assist with payment forecasting and ensure compliance with internal policies.
3. Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Monitor and manage all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Address any billing disputes and collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain customer account records and provide regular updates on outstanding payments and collection status.
4. Audit Support and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors, ensuring all required documentation and reports are provided accurately and on time.
- Assist in the implementation of audit recommendations to improve internal controls.
- Support internal audit teams by preparing schedules and documentation as required.
5. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accurate reflection of the company’s financial performance.
- Support management by providing data and insights to assist in decision-making and strategic planning.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the IT industry.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT laws and tax compliance procedures.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and audits.
- Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and collaboration with IT teams for system integration and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Fluency in English required)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software and ERP tools is a plus.
