Description:
We are hiring an experienced and meticulous Accountant to join E Daddy Official in Dubai. This full-time on-site position offers the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing organization committed to sustainability and climate action. The Accountant will oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and play a pivotal role in supporting the company's growth.
In addition to core accounting responsibilities, the Accountant will assist with legal and financial documentation and support the management of financial systems specific to the EV industry, including accounts for leasing models and last-mile delivery projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Management:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Handle reconciliation and oversee monthly financial closings.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and statements to senior management.
- Provide insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Tax Compliance and Legal Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, handle VAT filing, and documentation.
- Assist in managing legal agreements and financial documentation related to business partnerships.
- Budgeting and Cost Optimization:
- Create and manage operational budgets.
- Provide financial oversight on costs associated with last-mile delivery operations and EV projects.
- Payroll and Employee Benefits:
- Manage payroll operations, including employee benefits and deductions in line with UAE labor laws.
- System Expertise:
- Maintain and operate Tally ERP for financial management and reporting.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting systems tailored for the EV industry.
- Audit Coordination:
- Collaborate with auditors, ensuring accurate and timely submission of financial records.
- Other Financial Tasks:
- Monitor inventory costs and oversee fixed assets.
- Support ESG-related financial projects, tracking carbon reduction metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in Dubai or GCC, preferably in industries involving sustainability, logistics, or electric vehicles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP is mandatory. Knowledge of other financial tools is a plus.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
