Key Responsibilities
🧾 Month-End Closing
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Complete comprehensive Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget compliance.
💰 Treasury Management
• Prepare and analyze cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage the company’s cash flow effectively.
📊 Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Perform financial analysis to assess operational performance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Participate in strategic planning by providing financial insights.
• Offer data-driven recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
📑 Taxes & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local tax regulations.
• Prepare and file VAT returns from data collection through to final submission.
🔍 Audit Support
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing external audit packs and liaise with external auditors.
Requirements
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
✔️ Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
✔️ 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role.
✔️ Experience in the Food & Beverage or Hospitality industry is a distinct advantage.
✔️ Proficient in financial reporting, analysis, and UAE tax regulations.
