Hiring Accountant; Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills and gain hands-on experience in various accounting tasks. The successful candidate will assist in financial transactions, invoice preparation, and account reconciliations. Training and mentorship will be provided to help you grow in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Send statement of accounts to customers and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Ensure timely collection of overdue invoices.
- Post supplier invoices and payments into the accounting system.
- Reconcile bank and other accounts as directed.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
- Support the finance team in various accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist in internal and external audits by preparing the necessary documentation and reports.
- Stay informed on basic accounting principles and relevant updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent education/experience).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g, Excel) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
