Emirates Grand Hotel, a prestigious hospitality group based in Dubai, UAE, is currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance department. The ideal candidate must have 1 to 5 years of accounting experience within a star hotel, with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Candidates must be highly analytical, accurate, and familiar with industry-specific accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing comprehensive financial reports and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.

• Performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in accounts.

• Maintaining general ledger entries and tracking revenue and expenses.

• Monitoring daily financial operations and supporting monthly/year-end closings.

• Ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and internal policies.

• Utilizing hotel accounting software to manage financial data and reporting.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 1–5 years of accounting experience in the hospitality sector (mandatory).

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Familiarity with hotel accounting software (e.g., Opera, SunSystems, or similar).

• High attention to detail and organizational accuracy.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems.
