Accountant

Description:

Elite Extrusions LLC, part of Elite Group of Companies, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its Finance team in Ras Al-Khaimah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with UAE tax requirements.

The successful candidate should have strong technical knowledge of Excel, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience handling accounting operations, banking documentation, accounts receivable processes, and VAT compliance. This role offers an opportunity to grow with a leading aluminium extrusion company in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable ledgers, files, and related accounting records.

• Reconcile financial transactions, including cheques, wire transfers, letters of credit, and cash payments.

• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Monitor aging reports to identify overdue accounts and follow up with clients for outstanding payments.

• Prepare export LC and sight documents.

• Calculate sales incentives and prepare monthly sales reports.

• Develop cash flow projections and support financial planning activities.

• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and management of main petty cash settlements.

• Maintain accurate accounting ledgers and financial documentation.

• Prepare, review, and file monthly VAT returns.

• Reconcile VAT ledger accounts with financial statements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of solid accounting experience.

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle banking documentation and operational workflows.

• Experience in accounts receivable, VAT compliance, and financial reconciliation.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
