Accountant

Description:

A growing restaurant and hospitality business in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in restaurant or food and beverage accounting who can efficiently manage daily financial operations and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations.

The successful candidate will oversee accounts management, VAT compliance, financial reporting, inventory control, and bank reconciliations while providing financial and administrative support to management. Immediate joiners are preferred, and candidates from Kerala will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Perform daily sales and cash reconciliations.

• Handle supplier invoices and payment processing.

• Maintain VAT accounting records and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.

• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing activities.

• Monitor inventory records and food cost control.

• Perform bank reconciliations accurately and on time.

• Provide financial and administrative support to management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.

• Previous restaurant, café, or F&B accounting experience is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.

• Good understanding of inventory management and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Immediate joiners are preferred.

• Candidates from Kerala will be given priority.
