Accountant

 

Description:

Urgent requirement for a professional skilled Accountant for a thriving, fast growing recruitment consultancy to be based in the Dubai.

 

Key Responsibilities

Taxation and Compliance:

-Ensure compliance with UK PAYE, income tax, and business taxation laws, including VAT regulations.

-Manage quarterly VAT returns for four UK companies within the group.

-Prepare and file annual company tax returns.

 

Payroll Management:

-Process weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

 

Invoicing and Credit Control:

-Issue weekly and monthly invoices.

-Manage credit control to ensure timely payments and maintain healthy cash flow.

 

Management Reporting:

-Provide regular and accurate management information to support decision-making.

-Create precise monthly commission reports for the team.

 

Financial Planning and Forecasting:

-Develop regular cash flow forecasts to ensure financial stability.

-Participate in strategic financial planning to support company growth objectives.

 

Banking and Investor Relations:

-Manage all banking-related activities and resolve banking issues efficiently.

-Engage with external financiers and potential investors as part of the company’s capital-raising initiatives.

 

Qualifications and Skills

-Proven experience as an Accountant, ideally within a fast-growing organisation.

-In-depth knowledge of UK PAYE, income tax, and business taxation laws, including VAT.

-Strong proficiency in managing VAT and company tax returns.

-Demonstrated expertise in payroll processing and credit control.

-Advanced proficiency in financial reporting and creating management information.

-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.

-Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with external investors and stakeholders.

-High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

-Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
