Accounting And Finance Manager

Description:

We are seeking an honest, hardworking and dynamic individual to join our team as a manager for accounting & finance with 7-10 years of experience in the MEA region, preferably in the UAE market. The ideal candidate must be in the UAE & available to work on-site at out office. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic financial planning, with a strong understanding of local financial regulations and business practices in the MEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
✅Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, & general ledger functions.
✅Prepare & analyze monthly, quarterly, & annual financial statements as per local and international standards.
✅Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes.
✅Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
✅Ensure VAT compliance, including calculations and filings as per UAE regulations.
✅Conduct internal audits and strengthen financial controls.
✅Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audits and regulatory compliance.
✅Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:
✅Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA will be preferred.
✅ 7-10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
✅Experience in a tech distribution company in the MEA region is preferred.
✅ Experience with Zoho or similar accounting software is mandatory
✅Strong knowledge of UAE accounting laws, VAT regulations, financial reporting standards, & corporate tax.
✅Excellent communication and leadership skills.
