Accounting Supervisor

AMCA Accounting and Business Advisors DMCC is seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Supervisor to become part of its expanding team in the UAE. This position is ideal for a finance professional who possesses strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience within the UAE accounting or auditing sector. The successful candidate will oversee accounting operations, supervise team members, and ensure financial activities are conducted accurately and in compliance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of accountants and bookkeepers by allocating tasks and monitoring overall performance
• Review financial transactions and approve entries to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Prepare periodic financial and management reports for internal review
• Provide professional guidance on complex accounting issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Work closely with other departments to maintain efficient and smooth financial workflows
• Support staff development by assisting in training initiatives and conducting performance evaluations
• Coordinate with external auditors during audit processes and ensure required documentation is available
• Stay updated on current accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) – Philippines Passer is mandatory
• Prior work experience in an accounting or auditing firm within the UAE is required
• Demonstrated experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and compliance requirements
• Previous supervisory or team management experience is preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and communication skills
