We are hiring for an Area Business Manager MS for the Gulf Countries.
This role is responsible for promoting Biogen MS products and achieving goals of market share and sales targets in the assigned territory through disseminating scientific information to HCPs, build and maintain strong business partnership with stakeholders and ensure accessibility in key accounts.
Scope Of The Role Includes
- Promote Biogen MS products in compliance with applicable law and Biogen policies.
- Develop and apply strong understanding of Multiple Sclerosis, market dynamics, healthcare systems, Biogen therapies, treatment landscape and customer needs.
- Robust execution of marketing tactics and strategies by leveraging operational tools to achieve sales and commercial objectives while constantly seeking to improve selling skills and knowledge.
- Manage territory, develop a strategic plan, and complete required number of customer calls.
- Build and enhance customer relationships through well-developed call and engagement plans.
- Frequent update of customer lists and all the required information for robust S&T.
- Develop and execute activities such as local peer-to-peer, webinars and other educational events in the territory.
- Participate in the implementation of key projects and when required in collaboration with CFT.
- Capture market intelligence to define, segment and profile national key stakeholders.
- Track progress of new and existing patients (as legally permitted and appropriate in the geography).
- Offer innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities.
- Complete and maintain timely documentation (e.g. expense reports, compliance related reports, CRM system).
- Understand and adhere to all local and global compliance standards, including adverse events reporting, patient privacy, external stakeholder engagement etc.
- Ethical leadership, take personal accountability to use personal experiences and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Biogen to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role, demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Specialty products; Therapeutic Area Knowledge (Neurology/Multiple Sclerosis) is preferred. Local market knowledge is required.
Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy/science required.
Language: Fluency in English (writing, speaking, reading). Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Driving License: Valid local driver’s license
