Assistant Finance Manager

Description:

Mark & Save, part of the Western International Group, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join its retail finance team in Ajman. This role is ideal for finance professionals who have strong experience in retail or FMCG environments and are comfortable managing multi-branch financial operations in a fast-paced business setting.

The selected candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and operational finance while supporting leadership in decision-making and business performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support multi-branch financial operations within the retail business structure

• Oversee bookkeeping activities and ensure accuracy in financial reporting

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards

• Work closely with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities

• Ensure proper use and optimization of ERP systems for financial operations

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Retail or FMCG sector

• Mandatory experience in Big 4 accounting firms

• CA Intermediate qualification or CA / CPA preferred

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, and bookkeeping

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP exposure will be considered a strong advantage

• Proven leadership abilities with strong analytical and organizational skills
