The role
The role holder will be responsible for evaluating vendors, products, (tiles, sanitary ware and tableware) negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality, while ensuring the application of prescribed technologies that enable strategic sourcing to become predictive and consistent.
What you will be doing
- Developing a robust solution to automate the tail spend procurement through catalog development (In house / Outsource)
- Reviewing all the solution available in market and mapping the same to RAK Ceramics requirement
- As and when required taking care of Procurement of specific buyer/category.
- Converting Contract Purchase Request to Purchase Order
- Sending enquiries to approved vendors and evaluating quotes
- Creating Purchaser Order and submitting for approval by uploading all required documents in data management system of SAP
- Expediting and to complete the full P2P cycle.
- Technically evaluate the solution provider by Secondary Market research, Demo, Trails and pilot sourcing
- Analyzing the prices prevailing in various Market and comparing it to RAK Ceramics procurement rates and highlighting the deviation
- Conducting Secondary Market Research to keep up to date on happenings in field of Energy, Transportation, Metals, and other key areas that can impact RAK Ceramics operation
- Commodity Analysis for Budget preparation
- Analyzing the data and compiling into meaningful report / presentation to aid in decision making
- As and when required Utilizing SAP dump and converting it to meaningful data based on requirement
- Monthly Dashboard of MRO/Utilities/Admin/FG procurement covering Spend, Savings (Direct/Collaborative), Inventory, Performance.
- Weekly report on Efficiency of the team against KPI’s
- AD Hoc Reports / presentation as and when required by Managemen
