Assistant Manager

Description:

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Sourcing to join its procurement team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for procurement professionals with extensive experience in MRO sourcing and indirect procurement within industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Manufacturing, or Engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sourcing activities, supplier relationships, and procurement operations for a wide range of industrial products and maintenance services. Candidates with a strong B2B procurement background and willingness to relocate to Dubai are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sourcing and procurement activities for MRO and indirect procurement requirements.

• Source industrial products, maintenance services, and plant equipment from approved suppliers.

• Handle procurement for facility management requirements and AMC contracts.

• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet procurement objectives and project timelines.

• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate commercial terms.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

• B.Tech qualification is mandatory.

• 3–8 years of relevant procurement and sourcing experience.

• Experience in Indirect Procurement, Facility Management, and Sourcing.

• Strong experience in MRO procurement.

• Exposure to industrial products including pumps, motors, bearings, pipes, wires, cables, industrial lighting, chemicals, spare parts, maintenance services, AMC contracts, and plant equipment.

• B2B procurement background is required.

• Candidates from Oil & Gas, Chemical, Industrial Manufacturing, Engineering, or MRO industries are preferred.

• Candidates willing to relocate to Dubai are encouraged to apply.
