We are hiring an Assistant Reservations Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is perfect for an experienced reservations professional who has a deep understanding of Opera PMS, OTA management, and hotel reservation strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the reservations process, overseeing guest bookings, and enhancing the overall guest experience from the moment they interact with the hotel. You will lead strategies to optimize room occupancy, collaborate with various departments, and ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reservations Management:
    Efficiently handle reservations, ensuring accuracy in booking details and guest preferences. Oversee the reservation process to maximize room occupancy and revenue.

  • Opera PMS Expertise:
    Utilize Opera PMS to its full potential for managing and processing reservations, ensuring smooth operations. Maintain and update guest profiles, booking details, and special requests.

  • OTA Performance Management:
    Oversee OTA (Online Travel Agency) performance and ensure timely updates to online booking channels. Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy.

  • Guest Experience:
    Elevate the guest experience from the moment of booking through to check-out. Handle guest queries and special requests with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

  • Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with other departments such as front office, sales, and marketing to ensure a seamless guest experience and efficient room allocation.

  • Strategy Development:
    Assist in developing strategies to improve booking conversion rates and optimize revenue through various booking channels. Work with senior management to set goals and forecasts.

  • Reporting & Analytics:
    Analyze booking patterns, trends, and occupancy data to provide insights for pricing strategies and to improve overall reservation efficiency.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in hotel reservations or a similar role

  • Expert knowledge of Opera PMS and OTA management

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff

  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment while also being able to take initiative

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
