Hiring Assistant Store Manager – (Construction industry)
Job description:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of store personnel to ensure high levels of performance and efficiency.
- Coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of construction products and materials to all active project sites.
- Work closely with the operations and project management teams to ensure materials are available when needed and support the progress of construction operations.
- Maintain full control over inventory across multiple store locations, ensuring stock levels are adequate for ongoing projects and operations.
- Regularly track and manage stock levels, conduct physical counts, and implement inventory control procedures to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure all materials are organized and stored correctly, following safety and operational guidelines.
- Ensure all store locations comply with company and industry Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials in accordance with project timelines and target dates.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues related to product availability, delivery schedules, or quality.
- Monitor supplier performance and collaborate to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.
