Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Barista at INTELLECT Coffee Roastery. The Junior Barista will be responsible for food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a high standard of communication with customers. This role is located in Dubai but candidates will require to travel and work in other Emirates as we deal with Events all over UAE.
Qualifications

- Knowledge of coffee and espresso beverages
- Attention to detail and cleanliness is a requirement
- Basic knowledge of coffee equipment maintenance
- Extremely time flexible with working hours
Responsibilities
- Emphasis on customer service, focusing on customer retention and satisfaction.
- Assisting and taking part in events held by the company in public and private areas.
- Follow SOPs related to drinks preparation and menus
- Follow SOPs for POS & cash handling
- Follow SOPs for catering services through various channels (car, kiosks and trolley set ups )
- Delivery of products when / if needed
- Maintain a clean and neat work environment with immaculate presentation of bar area, trolleys and car
- Organizing and maintaining stock par levels
- Attending clients’ inquiries and making drinks as per their order/request
- Maintain client database and contact previous clients for re-booking services.
- Effectively pushing new products launched by the brand.
- Being enthusiastic and passionate for the brand, capable to promote the business to different clients
- Participate in marketing and advertising segments for the brand
- Participate in the R&D process to create new drinks or menus
- Stay updated with industry trends to continually improve design skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Highly skilled barista with excellent drink construction/latte art skills
- UAE Driving License
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic MS Office knowledge
- Be enthusiastic about coffee and eager to share their excitement with others
- Be a team player, willing to take direction/constructive criticism
- Have professional and well-groomed presentation
