Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Operations Management
- Oversee the daily café operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain high levels of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in working condition, arranging maintenance as required.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control stock levels to prevent shortages or wastage.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers, enhancing their overall experience.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
- Uphold high standards of presentation and quality for all food and beverages served.
- Gather customer feedback and implement strategies to improve service and offerings.
Staff Management & Development
- Lead, train, and motivate the café team, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labor costs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Recruit and onboard new employees as needed, ensuring they meet brand standards.
Sales & Revenue Management:
- Drive sales and profitability by implementing promotional activities and upselling techniques.
- Monitor daily sales reports, analyze performance, and implement strategies for growth.
- Managing waste, optimizing portion sizes, and improving efficiency.
Marketing & Brand Representation
- Ensure the café maintains brand consistency in service, décor, and overall ambiance.
- Engage with customers and the local community to build brand loyalty and awareness.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role in the F&B industry.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong background in coffee, bakery, and casual dining operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and create a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting.
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations in the UAE.
