FBB, a reputed company in the furniture manufacturing industry located in Umm Al Quwain, UAE, is urgently hiring skilled Carpenters to join their production team. This role requires experienced professionals with strong expertise in woodworking, joinery, and furniture manufacturing.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures and furniture pieces, ensuring top-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. Candidates with experience operating CNC machines and fit-out projects will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair woodwork and furniture fixtures according to technical specifications.

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to accurately execute projects.

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.

• Assemble and install cabinets, doors, windows, wall cladding, and other wooden structures.

• Operate CNC machinery for precise carpentry tasks (mandatory).

• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to meet project deadlines.

• Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions to supervisors promptly.

• Participate in furniture fit-out projects, applying expertise to complex installations.

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality requirements.

• Lead joinery project production processes, managing workflow for customer orders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven work experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking workshops.

• 3 to 5 years of carpentry experience in the UAE, preferably within furniture or joinery.

• Skilled in custom furniture making, wood cutting, assembly, fixing, and finishing.

• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.

• Proficient in using carpentry tools, machines, and following safety protocols.

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor-intensive tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and effective communication skills.
