Category Manager

Description:

Interior Company is currently seeking a skilled and market-focused Category Manager (Non Modular) to join its team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals who have a strong understanding of product trends and experience in developing and managing categories within the home interiors space.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing existing product categories while also identifying opportunities to introduce and grow new categories. This position requires a strategic mindset, market awareness, and the ability to collaborate across teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and expand existing product categories to drive growth and profitability
• Develop and launch new categories including appliances, furniture, lighting, wall décor, and wall claddings
• Monitor and implement emerging trends from UAE and European markets
• Identify, source, and onboard new vendors and suppliers
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve category performance, including sales and contribution margins

Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in category management, preferably within retail, e-commerce, or home interiors
• Strong knowledge of home interior products and market dynamics
• Familiarity with UAE and/or European market trends
• Excellent analytical thinking and negotiation skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
