We are hiring a Category Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product line strategies that meet or exceed sales and margin targets
- Analyze market trends and adjust purchasing strategies to meet customer needs
- Work closely with the Marketing and E-commerce teams to develop effective merchandising plans and promotions
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms and conditions
- Travel internationally to find new products and trends
- Create and implement promotional programs to drive sales and brand awareness
- Develop and manage inventory budgets and plans
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in category management or buying in the home goods industry
- Experience with purchasing and inventory management systems
- Ability to develop and execute effective merchandising plans and promotions
- Proven track record of achieving sales and margin targets
- Superior knowledge of the home goods market and trends
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
