We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Chartering Manager to lead our chartering department. In this key position, you will take full responsibility for managing and optimizing our global transportation of oil and chemical products — from strategic planning to day-to-day execution.

The position can be based either at our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, or at our office in Dubai, UAE.

About the Position

As Chartering Manager, you will play a central role in the company with responsibilities including:

• Leading and developing our chartering department, with the opportunity to build your own team
• Planning and booking sea transport for oil and chemical cargoes worldwide
• Negotiating freight rates and contracts with shipowners, charterers, and other partners
• Optimizing freight costs while ensuring high reliability and delivery performance
• Working closely with our logistics, trading, and operations teams
• Monitoring market developments and identifying new business opportunities

Your Profile

We imagine that you:

• Have several years of experience in chartering — ideally within oil and chemical shipping
• Possess strong knowledge of the shipping market and relevant contract types (e.g., spot, time charter, etc.)
• Are a skilled negotiator with a commercial mindset and solution-oriented approach
• Thrive with responsibility and take a structured approach to both operations and strategic planning
• Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken, at a professional and negotiation-ready level
