Chartering Manager & Freight Forwarder

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Chartering Manager passionate about the maritime industry and skilled in vessel chartering, freight negotiations, and market analysis. You will work closely with our HQ in Constanta, Romania, our Mersin, Türkiye branch office, and international partners to secure optimal outcomes for our chartering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight rates, hire terms, and charterparty conditions with shipowners and brokers
• Prepare and issue charterparty contracts and related documentation
• Monitor market trends and provide freight and capacity insights
• Maintain strong relationships with shipowners, brokers, and partners
• Support business development and client relationship initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in chartering, shipping, maritime operations, or similar
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced maritime environment
• Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Based in Dubai
