Role Summary

We're looking for a Founding CTO who can:

• Lead product architecture and development
• Build lean but powerful systems using AI and modern dev tools
• Manage or hire a small team of 2–3 engineers
• Collaborate closely with the founder (business/product)
• Contribute to strategic tech choices and investor conversations

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the tech roadmap
• Build the MVP from scratch using lean, scalable architecture
• Integrate AI models (LLMs, personalization engines, chat systems, etc.)
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance from Day 1
• Manage outsourced/internal engineers (where needed)
• Participate in fundraising as the technical face of the company

Required Skills

• 3+ years of full-stack development experience
• Strong grasp of AI APIs, cloud infrastructure, and app architecture
• Experience with early-stage startups, MVPs, and scaling
• Proficiency in modern stacks (Node.js, Python, React/Flutter, Firebase/AWS/GCP)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver fast, iterate smartly, and lead lean teams
• Bonus: Past experience building social/local/community-based platforms
