Civil Engineer

Description:

The Civil Engineer is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing contractual documentation, tender submissions, cost estimations, for civil engineering and construction projects.

The role ensures compliance with technical specifications, commercial requirements, while supporting project execution through effective contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations for construction projects.

• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and government regulations.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients, design, and internal teams

• Prepare and review method statements, work schedules, and progress reports (Mandatory)

• Monitor project timelines and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.

• Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality control

• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies.

• Attend project meetings and provide progress updates (weekly, monthly reports)

• Assist in material approvals, procurement follow-up, and cost monitoring and operations

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in UAE, specifically in residential construction projects.

• Valid UAE Driving License – mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of local building codes, construction standards.

• Excellent communication and site coordination skills.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Primevira and project management tools.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
