Civil Engineer

Description:

A reputable construction and interior works company in Dubai is currently seeking a skilled and site-experienced Civil Engineer to join its project execution team. This position is focused on on-site supervision and coordination of civil construction activities, particularly in concrete works, finishing, and interior fit-out projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on UAE site experience and the ability to manage daily construction operations while ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and timely project completion. This role requires strong technical knowledge, practical site management skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with labor teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

The selected engineer will play a key role in ensuring smooth execution of ongoing projects while maintaining adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and Dubai regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site activities related to civil construction, concrete works, and finishing tasks
• Ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings and project specifications
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers for smooth workflow
• Monitor project progress and report site updates regularly to management
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and Dubai Municipality regulations
• Review and interpret AutoCAD drawings for site implementation
• Manage material usage, site resources, and work quality control
• Resolve on-site technical issues and support project execution decisions
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within project deadlines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 2–3 years of UAE site experience in civil construction projects
• Valid Dubai Municipality Engineer Card (mandatory)
• Strong experience in concrete works, finishing, and interior decoration projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for reading and reviewing technical drawings
• Good communication skills in English and Urdu
• UAE driving license preferred
