Cloud Engineer

John Keells IT is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join its team in the UAE. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, Linux administration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container technologies who are looking to advance their careers in cloud infrastructure.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud environments while supporting Linux workloads and Platform as a Service (PaaS) databases. The role also involves contributing to Azure Landing Zones, cloud governance initiatives, and implementing cloud security best practices. Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Support Azure PaaS databases and Linux-based workloads.

• Assist in the implementation of Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance frameworks.

• Deploy and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

• Configure and maintain Azure networking components, including VNets, NSGs, and Private Endpoints.

• Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes while following cloud security best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

• AZ-305 Certification is required.

• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

• Fundamental knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance.

• Knowledge of Azure networking concepts, including VNets, NSGs, and Private Endpoints.

• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
