Compliance Officer

A fast-growing international trading group is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join its UAE operations. This is a key role focused on ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong emphasis on governance, AML/CFT, and sanctions compliance.

This organisation well known in the UAE has recorded multibillion AED revenues in past years and have recorded significant growth. They have operations in Africa, UAE and Europe, specifically with a large trading team in Geneva which you will closely support.

What you’ll be doing:

• Implement and maintain compliance frameworks and registers across the group.
• Support regulatory reporting and internal audits.
• Monitor AML, sanctions, and KYC processes for high-risk jurisdictions.
• Liaise with government and regulatory bodies (MoE, ADGM, DIFC, etc.).
• Deliver internal training and promote a culture of compliance.

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years’ experience in compliance roles, ideally within trading or financial services.
• Strong understanding of UAE regulations (ADGM, SCA, DIFC, MoE) and international frameworks (FATF, OFAC).
• Proficiency with tools like WorldCheck, LexisNexis, or similar.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is highly desirable.
