Description:
The Construction Foreman will oversee on-site daily operations, coordinate workforce activities, and ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and according to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, construction experience, and the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
- Ensure work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Lead and manage on-site labor, subcontractors, and crew members.
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to guide the workforce.
- Schedule tasks, assign work, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
- Report progress, issues, and updates to Site Manager / Project Manager.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures in alignment with UAE regulations and company standards.
- Conduct on-site inspections to maintain quality control and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials inventory; report shortages or damages.
- Train and mentor junior workers for efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma/certificate preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a foreman or supervisor in construction projects, preferably in UAE or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in planning, organizing, and multitasking in a dynamic work environment.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic / other languages is an advantage.
