Construction Manager

Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead and control all on-site activities and subcontractors for infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on NDM works, pump station construction, pressure line and chambers installation. Preference will be given to candidates with previous approval from TAQA-WS.

Key Responsibilities:

Your tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

Site Management & Supervision

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for infrastructure works and ensure all activities are executed according to approved plans, specifications, and project schedules.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labor involved in infrastructure construction to ensure efficient and optimal use of resources.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and site-specific rules.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures to ensure project standards are consistently met.
• Monitor site workmanship and material compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure all construction activities meet local and national regulatory requirements, including necessary permits and approvals.

Communication & Reporting

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and progress updates.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports, site logs, and documentation to management.
• Address and resolve issues that may affect progress, quality, or safety.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

• Lead and supervise the site team, promoting collaboration, efficiency, and accountability.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure the workforce is aligned with project goals and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

· Experience: Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with mandatory hands-on experience in infrastructure works, specifically including NDM works, pump station construction, pressure lines, and
