Hriing Customs Clearance Officer
Location: Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE
Job Summary:
Amirane Omid FZC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customs Clearance Officer to manage shipment reconciliations, liaise with freight forwarders, and ensure compliance with customs regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE customs laws, import/export regulations, and international trade policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee customs clearance procedures, ensuring smooth and timely import/export processes.
- Reconcile shipment records, verifying invoices, customs declarations, and logistics documents.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and regulatory authorities to resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and international trade policies.
- Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and shipment status reports.
- Identify and resolve any customs-related delays or issues.
- Provide recommendations to improve logistics and customs processes.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-3+ years in customs clearance, reconciliation, or logistics, preferably in the food industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE customs laws, import/export regulations, and trade compliance.
- Skills: Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience in working with freight forwarders and clearing agents in Jebel Ali, UAE.
Compensation:
- Salary will be based on experience and expertise.
- Pay: From AED 6,000.00 – 7,000.00 per month
- Job Types: Full-time, Contract
- Contract Length: 24 months
