Hiring Customs Clearance Specialist

Location: Dubai

Salary Range: AED 5,000 – 6,000

Probation Period: 6 months

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in local logistics or cross-border e-commerce, with expertise in import and export customs procedures. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong ability to manage complex issues, and proficiency in office software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Import and Export Customs Declaration and Inspection:
• Manage customs declarations and inspections at Dubai Airport and Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). Ensure compliance with customs regulations, optimize processes, and address challenges for timely delivery.

Document Exchange and Cargo Release:

• Oversee document exchange and cargo release at Dubai Airport, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to resolve any delays.

Data Management and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate customs records, ensure data integrity, and regularly report on operations, including issue analysis and recommendations.

Additional Duties:

• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-4 years in logistics or cross-border e-commerce, with a focus on Dubai DWC/DXB airport cargo operations.
• Operational Knowledge: Expertise in customs procedures and regulations, with the ability to handle cargo issues effectively.
• Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in office software, especially spreadsheets.
• Other Requirements: Valid Dubai driving license. Nationality is not restricted.
