Description:
JOB PURPOSE
- Lead the Migration for the successful implementation of the core banking transformation across geographies by acting as the primary interface between the Technology and the assigned business/function group and the project implementation team.
- This pivotal position requires a dynamic and strategic technology lead who can drive the modernization efforts essential for enhancing customer experience, and overall business agility.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Act as the Technology team’s primary representative in the core banking upgrade system migration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Finance, operations, external consultants and vendors.
- Support design and validation of business/ops specific configurations within Oracle FLEXCUBE, Channels and surround systems. Ensuring technical & functional integration including local regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks, issues, and delays related to programme deliverables.
- Represent Technology in the working group of the program and update program progress update to Tech senior management.
- Ensure Banks governance process is followed and documented.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the upgrade program, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and technical specifications related to assigned business/Ops units.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Education & Certifications
Postgraduate /Engineer
Experience
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in Core banking transformation/ data migration with at least 5 years in system implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing core banking systems, particularly Oracle Flexcube.
- Experience in requirements management, Gap analysis and solutioning.
Technical Skills
- Preferred to have experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE configurations of products and processes.
- Proven track record of successful system integrations and data migrations
