Description:
We are looking for a Design Manager to lead and oversee the design process across our landmark projects. This role is central to ensuring our developments reflect SAAS’s design vision, meet functional requirements and uphold the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process from concept to detailed design, safeguarding design intent throughout all stages.
- Review and evaluate design proposals, drawings and documentation from consultants and internal teams.
- Ensure design solutions reinforce the company’s brand identity while achieving business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Projects, Sales, Marketing) and external consultants to align deliverables.
- Act as the primary liaison for design-related discussions with consultants and authorities.
- Lead design review meetings, negotiate solutions, and track design progress to ensure compliance with timelines, budget, and regulations.
- Oversee quality control of all design documentation and support regulatory approvals and submissions.
- Prepare design reports, presentations and approvals documentation while supporting multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in architecture/design, ideally with real estate development projects.
- Proven track record of managing design processes and consultant coordination.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, planning regulations, and permitting.
- Proficiency in design and documentation tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
