Digital Marketing Consultant

This is a rare opportunity for a capable digital marketer to take full ownership of the organisation’s marketing and acquisition function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building the marketing function from the ground up, taking complete control of paid media execution, funnel creation, performance optimisation, and digital growth strategy. You will have autonomy, responsibility, and visibility — and will grow with the department as it scales.

 

Role Overview

The Digital Marketing Consultant will lead digital acquisition strategy across adviser recruitment and client acquisition activities, driving measurable growth through performance marketing and conversion-led funnel building.

Given the sector, the role requires a strong understanding of regulated financial marketing, compliance sensitivities, and how to position financial services to the right audiences responsibly and effectively.

 

Key Requirement (Meta Ownership)

Candidates must be able to:

  • Create and set up a Meta Business Manager / Meta Ads account
  • Implement correct access permissions and governance
  • Take full operational control of Meta advertising infrastructure (pixels, events, conversions API, audiences, campaign structure, reporting)

This role requires someone who can confidently own the entire Meta ecosystem without reliance on external agencies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute paid acquisition strategies across Meta, LinkedIn, Google, and other relevant digital channels
  • Build and optimise end-to-end adviser and client acquisition funnels
  • Create landing pages, automated workflows, and email nurture sequences
  • Manage social content calendars and coordinate digital assets for campaigns
  • Track and analyse performance metrics to improve ROI, CPL, CPA and conversion rates
  • Implement best practice testing frameworks (creative testing, A/B testing, audience segmentation)
  • Ensure all marketing activity aligns with financial advertising regulations and compliance requirements
  • Support digital campaigns for webinars, product launches, and online events targeting advisers and clients
  • Conduct competitor research and market analysis to inform channel strategy and messaging

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in performance marketing and paid acquisition
  • Strong hands-on capability with Meta Ads (essential) including account setup, campaign optimisation and scaling
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple platforms (Meta / LinkedIn / Google)
  • Strong understanding of funnels, lead generation and conversion optimisation
  • Experience with landing page tools, CRMs, analytics platforms and marketing automation
  • Commercially aware, data-driven and confident reporting on performance
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to execute content and campaigns end-to-end

 

Preferred Background

While not mandatory, candidates with any of the below will be strongly prioritised due to the regulated nature of the sector:

  • Marketing experience in wealth management, investments, financial advisory, private client services, structured products, or related professional services
  • Familiarity with regulated messaging, disclaimers, and compliance processes
  • Financial qualifications or strong financial literacy
