Director Of Partnerships

Near+Far - the region's fastest-growing independent travel title - is seeking a driven, creative and flexible Director of Partnerships to accelerate the brand's growth in the market and launch its debut print title, amongst other exciting launches. As Director of Partnerships, you will generate revenue for the brand across N+F print and digital channels and manage key client relationships. This role would suit a freelancer, remote worker or UAE resident with an exciting visa - as is a freelance position without opportunity for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identifying sales and partnership prospects, developing strategic sales and partnership plans, preparing presentations, constructing - and pitching - creative and enticing partnership ideas to brand and potential partners, and negotiating sales packages.
• Cultivating, developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in the region - both agency and in-house - to form and foster new partnerships.
• Work with the editorial team to create cross-platform advertorial content.
• Manage all aspects of sales and revenue-generating communications.
• Attending client events and travel, luxury and hospitality launches to build relationships and brand awareness.

Who you are

• Experience in a sales role or with selling (not necessarily in media)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate about travel and luxury industries (hotels, destinations, hospitality, fashion, beauty, wellness, watches and jewellery etc)
• Excellent client and agency relationships (or willingness to develop them)
• Have a strong knowledge of the GCC luxury/travel market and industries and what GCC consumers want.
