We are seeking a transformational Director of Sales to lead and scale both our Motor Insurance and Retail Medical Insurance businesses.
This leader must be process-driven, analytical, and deeply commercial—someone who builds scalable systems, leads large organizations with clarity and discipline, and consistently delivers aggressive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has already managed significant P&L responsibility and led large sales forces of several hundred to several thousand professionals across high-velocity and advisory-led environments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Own the full commercial performance of the Motor and Retail Medical Insurance sales organizations.
- Define and execute sales strategies for both lines of business, ensuring profitability, growth, and market leadership.
- Use CRM, analytics, and AI insights to identify priority customer segments and optimize conversion.
- Build structured business-planning rhythms, including funnel management, pipeline forecasting, and outcome measurement.
- Set bold revenue, productivity, and quality targets with clear accountability frameworks.
- Continuously optimize each stage of the conversion funnel through experimentation and data-driven improvement.
2. Talent Acquisition & Leadership Development
- Recruit high-volume Motor Insurance sales talent and world-class Retail Medical advisory professionals.
- Build structured onboarding frameworks that drive rapid productivity for both high-velocity and advisory-led teams.
- Create a culture that rewards performance, learning, and high-integrity conduct.
- Strengthen managerial capability—ensuring leaders are coaches, multipliers, and effective operators.
- Identify and groom future leaders to support long-term scale.
3. Operational Excellence
- Design scalable, standardized processes that produce predictability and eliminate variability across both businesses.
- Manage the business through dashboards and KPIs: activity, conversion, revenue, retention, productivity by advisor and channel.
- Introduce automations to reduce manual work and maximize advisor time spent with customers.
- Build a robust high-velocity lead conversion engine for Motor Insurance and a structured advisory process for Medical Insurance.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align with marketing on lead generation strategy, lead mix, targeting, and funnel quality.
- Partner with technology teams to enhance CRM systems, automation, digital journeys, and conversion tools.
- Coordinate with service, claims, finance, operations, compliance, and HR to ensure seamless issuance, renewals, and service delivery.
5. Market & Partner Management
- Build strong insurer relationships to secure competitive pricing, preferential terms, and product leadership.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Motor, Medical, and other product lines through journey innovation.
6. Governance & Reporting
- Ensure ethical selling, regulatory compliance, and adherence to all internal policies.
- Present performance insights, data-driven recommendations, and improvement plans to senior leadership.
- Maintain full transparency through clear narrative reporting and structured reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10–15 years of strong sales leadership experience in Motor Insurance, Retail Medical Insurance, health insurance, or advisory-led financial services.
- Proven success building and scaling large sales organizations (hundreds to thousands of advisors).
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-velocity sales and advisory-led consultative sales environments.
- Strong command of CRM systems, automation, analytics, and data-driven decision making.
- Deep understanding of the UAE insurance landscape and regulatory environment, especially in Retail Medical Insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate studies preferred.
