Director/technology Performance Management

 

Description:

Director/Technology Performance Excellence is responsible for initiation, planning, monitoring of end-to-end Performance management of all Programs/Projects/Operational KPIs across all Technology Divisions along with full alignment with the Corporate Governance and Business Performance Team. In additional to the responsibility of continuous improvement scope which aims at enhancing the Technology KPIs to reach the top performance level.

Responsibilities
 

  • Responsible for annual and monthly Performance planning per function, modification or recommendation of new process creation in line with requests from engineering sections in compliance to the performance management framework, principles and standards.
  • Use the performance management process as a valuable tool for supporting team development and improvement.
  • Responsible to define, monitor and report on different types of KPI's (Programs/ Projects / Operational / Strategic / Corporate / Board).
  • Monitor and appraise the performance of the entire Technology Department and maintain effective communication within area of responsibility through the following:
    • Performance contract finalization between CTIO & Head of Sections.
    • Monthly performance reports for each technology Division.
    • Critical Operational KPIs reporting covering all technologies.
    • Quarter and annual reports covering all technology Divisions
    • Corporate & Business KPIs Monthly Performance reports.
    • Process monthly Performance reports.
    • DDM Monthly Performance reports.
    • Technology Digital Talent Monthly Performance reports.
  • Conducting monthly performance review meeting with CTIO and each technology division head to highlight on the monthly achievements and deviations.
  • Manage and ensures implementation and effectiveness of the Performance Management and Improvement System including E2E Change Management for continuous improvement and in alignment with TQM
  • Researches, design appropriate Technology-wide performance and quality training including enabling teams and individuals to contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and performance.
  • Define Interface to HR & Corporate Governance Performance Team for engineering activities and establish roadmap to develop performance measures and identify performance improvements KPIs.
  • Coordinate for performance management and quality improvement capacity building for all levels of management and employees.
  • Manage and ensure the Digital & Automated Performance Monitoring Platform in order to establish a continuous performance and quality improvement effort and monitoring reporting system.
  • Manage & ensure Performance Monitoring & Gap Analytics with state of the art reports and dashboards for strategic Function/Program under whole engineering to enhance performance.
  • Responsible for timely reporting to management with different reports and dashboards on the projects/ programs under your responsibility.
  • Conduct short, regular meetings to discuss and record milestones, accomplishments, successes and challenges as they occur.
  • Annual performance review meeting to review the achievements, setbacks, development and training.
  • Operational Plan preparation, finalization, approval and maintenance.
  • Guidance and feedback to all members in the Program organization for establishing program plans and goals for various projects/milestones/tracks.
  • Analyze operational performance trends to understand their current and potential capabilities and capacities and identify where development is needed to achieve the strategic goals.
  • Develop a culture that continually seeks to improve the effectiveness of collaboration and teamwork throughout their value chain.
  • Applies continuous improvement methodologies “Six Sigma” & “Lean” to enhance the overall engineering performance.

Qualifications
 

  • Masters / Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years in the Telecommunications Industry, 5+ years of management experience and 5+ years of managing performance of programs/ projects.
