Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Civil Engineer with a strong background in project management, including planning, quantity surveying, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the UAE construction industry and must possess Dubai Municipality (DM) approval. This role involves full oversight of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, resource plans, and work programs using tools like Primavera or MS Project.
- Oversee quantity surveying activities including cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and budget monitoring.
- Implement and manage robust quality control processes and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Supervise site engineers and technical staff; provide guidance and resolve construction-related issues.
- Prepare and present project status reports, risk assessments, and progress documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to construction projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Dubai Municipality approved Civil Engineer (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
- Proficient in project management and planning tools (Primavera, MS Project).
- Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- UAE driving license (mandatory).
