English Teacher

Description:

International Academic School Dubai is currently hiring a passionate and committed High School English Teacher for the upcoming 2026–27 academic year. The school follows an American curriculum and is looking for an educator who can inspire students, strengthen language skills, and contribute positively to the academic environment.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are enthusiastic about teaching English at the secondary level and can deliver engaging, structured, and student-centered lessons. Applicants already based in the UAE and available for immediate or upcoming academic onboarding will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English language and literature lessons for high school students

• Develop lesson plans aligned with the American curriculum standards

• Create an engaging and interactive classroom environment to enhance student learning

• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and continuous evaluation

• Provide academic support and guidance to help students improve language proficiency

• Maintain classroom discipline while encouraging critical thinking and creativity

• Collaborate with faculty and academic staff to support curriculum development

• Communicate effectively with parents and school administration regarding student progress

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in English preferred (or relevant Bachelor’s degree with teaching qualification)

• Prior teaching experience, preferably in the UAE education sector

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to teach high school-level English literature and language effectively

• Familiarity with American curriculum standards is an advantage

• Must currently be residing in the UAE
