Finance Executive

 

Description:

The Finance Executive will be responsible for handling daily financial operations, including invoicing, payment follow-ups, reconciliations, ledger maintenance, client payments, bank coordination, and reporting. The role involves ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions, managing client-related financial processes, and maintaining compliance with company policies and banking procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR,

· reconciliations, and crypto-fiat transaction accounting.

· Oversee preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow statements, and

· management accounts.

· Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for OTC trades, payment gateway clients, and

· onboarding fees.

· Reconcile crypto wallet balances and fiat accounts with platform transactions on a daily,

· weekly, and monthly basis.

· Handle VAT, taxation, and regulatory filings in compliance with UAE and other relevant

· jurisdictions.

· Support internal and external audits, providing clear and accurate financial documentation.

· Design, implement, and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure

· compliance.

· Collaborate with compliance, operations, and product teams to align financial records with

· AML/KYC requirements.

· Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support business growth.

· Supervise and guide junior accounting staff or external partners.

· Assist in the financial assessment of new products, services, and strategic partnerships.

· Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Accuracy of monthly financial reports and statements (target: 100% error-free

· submissions).

· Reconciliation completion rate (target: 100% of crypto and fiat transactions reconciled as

· per defined timelines).

· On-time invoicing and collections (target: 95% invoices issued within 48 hours of

· transaction completion: 90% payments collected within agreed terms).

· Audit readiness (target: zero major audit observations on financial records).

· Cash flow variance accuracy (target: within ±5% of forecasted cash flows).

· Implementation of internal controls (target: 100% adherence to approved processes.

· periodic review with no significant lapses).

· Reduction in outstanding receivables (target: maintain DSO—Days Sales Outstanding— within industry benchmarks).

Contribution to cost optimization initiatives (target: identify and implement at least 2 cost saving measures Annually.

 

Requirements / Qualifications

· Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. (M. Com, MBA, or ACCA)

· Experience: A minimum of 2 to 4 years in financial operations or accounting. Experience.

· Industry: Ideal experience in Fintech, Banking, or Crypto sectors.

· Software Skills: Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.

· Crypto Expertise: Practical experience with crypto transactions and wallet reconciliations.

· Blockchain Familiarity: Familiarity with blockchain technology platforms.

· Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of VAT, taxation, and AML/KYC regulations.

· Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the UAE and other relevant jurisdictions.
