Description:
Our Client which is a leading FMCG specialized company in the UAE, primarily focused on providing high-quality dairy products (ice cream, milk, cheese, butter) and fruit juices is seeking a Finance Manager. The company operates a monopoly-like presence in Iran and has expanded into the UAE market, working across both A-class and C-class retail channels. It is operating out of its Warehouse located in DIP, Dubai where this position will be based.
Job Responsibilities:
Policy and Procedures:
- Develop and implement strong finance-related policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to these policies within the finance and warehouse operations.
Warehouse Management:
- Oversee and coordinate warehouse operations as part of finance responsibilities.
- Build and lead a strong team to manage both finance and warehouse functions.
Team Supervision:
- Lead and manage a finance team of five professionals.
- Establish performance metrics to monitor and improve the team’s efficiency and output.
- Provide regular performance updates to the supervisor and the CEO, ensuring they are aligned with overall business objectives.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular reports to the supervisor and the CEO.
Knowledge in FMCG Distribution:
- Leverage your knowledge of FMCG distribution to guide the financial strategy, particularly with regard to distribution channels.
- Ensure that inventory management and supply chain finance are optimized to support growth in both A-class and C-class retail channels.
Set-Up and Management:
- This is a new role (within a two-year setup) aimed at establishing structure and stability in finance function.
- Work with senior management to build scalable financial systems that can grow with the business as it expands its operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of UAE work experience, with a specific focus on FMCG finance and distribution.
- Experience in managing warehouse operations from a finance perspective is essential.
Education:
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
